Hey, it seems like I haven’t updated in a while.

Probably because I went to Canada.

But I’ll arrive in Fukuoka again on Friday.

It’s actually pretty fast, I only got here last week and already I’m heading back to Japan soon.

Halloween was fun.

After I wake up tomorrow I’m planning on buying half-priced candy.🙂

I took video and stuff too, but I’ll show you that when I have more free time.

In any case, thanks for continuing to read my blog.

I’ll write a proper entry as soon as I can.

I’ll show you some photos my mom took in the forest. :0

I don’t know if you noticed, but I dyed and cut my hair, too.

This way, my eyebrows don’t stand out as much.

  1. Aww, Mic, I think you look gorgeous! I wish John would use his camera equipment more often… alas, he likes to buy lots of expensive things, use it for a month, then let it collect dust… =(

    I named my camcorder Gaea, btw– I figure if I’ll be travelling with her, Gaea was a suitable name. ^^;

  2. All those pictures are awesome!
Wow, Canada looks so beautiful…I hope to see it one day😀
Glad you’re having a wonderful time being home!

  3. I’ve been following a bit your tweets and your blog Ciaela. All this Asian culture seems to me to be very interesting. I know that you’re from Canada and it wanted to say to you that you’re a very nice woman. I belong to San Luis Potosi, Mexico but I am interested in learning Japanese, thats why i have been following you and Alejandro Cremades (karawapo) to learn a bit of Japanese.
I hope we can share tweets or comments, by the way, do you speak spanish?

Well i send you greetings from Mexico.

    Cesar (Neo41306)😀

  6. Hello from Hiroshima.
I checked out your videos on youtube.
    I really liked it!
Your Japanese is perfect. I can’t believe you’ve been living in Japan only for 5 years.

As Seiichi-san says this blog would be very good exercises for English learners like me.
so lucky to get to know you by chance!

  8. Hey Micaela, I just wanted to say you inspired me to take my dream of going into to Japan into action. Well, I haven’t yet, but I plan to in 2012😄. My goal right now is to save up $40 000 (I’m not sure if thats a good amount) and take the 1 year program for NILS. I looked up a bunch of other schools, but that one seems the best for me as it was for you. I’m learning some basic Japanese right now (just finished memorizing the hiragana chart). Anyway, thanks for the inspiration. Oh, and if you have any tips for me feel free to email me at xflonia@hotmail.ca. I’d really appreciate it since you’ve experienced what I plan to experience one day.🙂

  9. It’s too good if you are writing Japanese. I mean it appear odd. Japanese is your boyfriend’s work:) By the way, I think the dye is not healthful. Most dye hair contain diamine. It is a deadly poison. Better watch out for yourself.
