Hey guys, I know it’s been a while.
や、また久しぶりからはじまるブログです。

How have you been doing?
最近どうすごしているんですか？

I want to tell you about a special project I have been working on.
最近新たなプロジェクトを始まって、漸く皆さんに教えるようになりました。

About 2 months ago, my friend Micchiy introduced me to his filmmaking friend, ODA.
２ヶ月前ぐらい、友達のミッチーが、映画監督の友達ODA君を紹介してくれました。_

(If you live in Fukuoka, you might recognize Micchiy as one of the reporters on the late-night TV shows, DUOMO and SLOTTARE!)
(福岡民が分かると思うけど、スロッタレーやDUOMOの新人リポーターミッチーと同じく！）

We got together and, over drinks, brainstormed ideas for a youtube series.
３人でホームパーティをし、飲みながら、ユーチューブドラマのアイデアいろいろひらめいた。

And that’s how Afternoonの昼下がり (Afternoon no Hirusagari/Afternoon’s Afternoon) was born.
そしてアフタヌーンの昼下がりが生まれました。

It’s about two characters–myself and Micchiy.
キャラクターは、ミッチーと私二人。

He can only speak Japanese, and I can only speak English.
彼は日本語しか話せないのです。そしてもちろん私は英語。

As they talk, they become friends, and start so spend the afternoons together.
二人で会話しながら、仲が良くなって、楽しいアフタヌーンを過ごすことになります.

I think it’s going to be interesting for those who are learning either English or Japanese.
きっと、英語や日本語を勉強している方の勉強に役に立つと思います。

In each video, the conversation plays twice.
一つの動画のなかで、同じ会話が二回流れます。

The first time as is, the second time with subtitles.
一回目はそのまま流れますが、二回目は、字幕付きです。

The theme song was composed by Micchiy, and we sang it together.
ミッチーがテーマソングを作って、二人でうたいました。

Right now, we are uploading a new episode every 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
配信スケジュールについてですが、今のところで第二と第四の日曜日に放送するようになっています。

All three of us are really busy, but this pace is perfect for us.
３人とも別の用事で忙しいため、しばらくこのペースで続きます。

Since it’s kind of different from what I usually put on Youtube, I don’t think EVERYONE will like it
今まで作ったものとのジャンルが違って、登録者のみんなさんに好かれると期待していないと思う、

But I’m really happy if you DO like it.
やけど、好きになってくれたら嬉しいです。
